EDUCATION Ph.D . in Geography, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Dr. Lindquist's research interests in Geography began in the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to problems in urban transportation planning, most notably in mass transit ridership forecasting. This work earned him national recognition from the Institute of Transportation Engineers. Dr. Lindquist was a member of the Northwest Ohio research team in the Global Change in Local Places project sponsored by NASA and the Association of American Geographers. He is also engaged in the Upper Midwest Freight Corridor Study. His course offerings have included Introduction to GIS, GIS Applications, Advanced GIS, Digital Cartography, Quantitative Methods and Mapping, Transportation, and Location Analysis.
